the problem with this drug is that the lethal dose isn't much higher than than the effective dose. There are plenty of illegal substances where the lethal dose is many times greater than the effective dose. The lethal dose for methamphetamine is almost 100 times greater than the dose you begin feeling effects at. MDMA is also impossible to overdose on in relation to the effective dose, unless you're an idiot and drink 5 gallons of water. Methedrone has an effective dose around 200mg and has a lethal dose that's not much more than a gram. Making this even worse is that the drug only causes effects for 20-30 minutes, but it takes much longer to leave the system.

It's so structurally similar to methcathinone, I think you could easily get prosecuted for possession or sale under the Controlled Substance Analog Act. Then again, the same could have been said for 5-MeO-AMT and 2-CT-7 when they used to be available over the internet 10 years ago.
