It's about time for my winter beard, but this is the first time I've dated a girl who is pretty much opposed to my facial hair. She likes the way it looks, but she's been complaining a lot about me "stabbing her face" when we kiss. Which I find odd because I've had facial hair on and off since we've dated, although I've been keeping it a lot more clean recently because of her, weddings we've been going to, and I've been making more court appearances for work recently. She's never complained this much before.

Do I grow it out or shave? There's also potential for it to get softer the longer it gets. Should I tell her to suck it up? (pun intended)

ya, the only reason I'd leave this area for another apartment is that there are always cops wandering around looking for street walkers, and this apartment isn't that great. water pipes have burst numerous times over the past year and I've already been flooded once
