I had a couple of these on my page too. I kind of wanted to respond that there was about a 1/30 chance that a natural disaster or any catastrophe would fall on a given day of the month, so if you take a sample size of about 90 things, on average, you should see about 3-ish on every numerical day of the month. I am pretty sure you could find 3 really bad events in history that happened on every day if you tried hard enough.

But I did not post this, because obviously if you are stupid enough to believe in some stupid coincidence about the number 11 (and have to distort numbers like the date of the Haiti earthquake to boot....) then you probably don't have the mental capacity to grasp basic probabilities.

They are both pretty much the same thing. You add people to your friends list, keep in touch with 5 out of the 700 of them, join your school's directory, post photos, etc.

The difference between Facebook and myspace is that at first you had to be a student at certain universities to join, then you had to be a student at any university. This gave it an adult image to facebook while giving myspace a teenage image. This made facebook more appealing to the 18+ crowd before it was opened to the public.

I agree that facebook is here to stay, but at some point I think we will see someone come up with a new idea for a website that allows people to share photos and communicate with friends through the use of a friends list. This will cause myspace to come to an end since people use that to share photos and communicate with friends through the use of a friends list.
