it is supposed to be an AK 47 but i don't know a lot about guns so it could be whatever (i've seen an AR15 though too...i can't really tell, to me they both look like big guns, to me)

anyways, yes that is kind of an odd picture. i didn't really notice it at first. i can't remember how they had the guns set up...it was such a weird experience. but they were definitely like...latched onto the ledge somehow.

how does that work exactly? do you take a photo and then whatever company has the rights... do they assign keywords to it that they think potential clients would want like "creepy" or "drugged out" or is it just a line up of people

heres what happens from my end.
a guy takes my photo and pays me.
he puts in on istock.com and people pay to download it, different prices for different sizes.

the photographer makes sure to describe it accurately for search purposes.
for example that picture was described as " Young Woman with Bruised Black Eye Lying in Doorway"
with the key words" Narcotic, Drug Abuse, Addiction, Violence, Domestic Violence, Women, Depression, Sadness, Runaway, Despair, Social Issues....more"

if a company or individual likes it...they buy it

that picture has been downloaded over 100 times!
