it was on the 358 (Aurora Ave). which has the distinction of being the only Seattle bus route where a bus driver was killed by a psycho passenger. while driving the bus. while driving over the Aurora Bridge. and then plummeting the bus off the bridge, fucking a bunch of passengers up.

The Aurora bridge, by the way, has the distinction of being the most popular suicide bridge in Seattle. local businesses under the bridge by the water were getting demoralized by having people splatter on their parking lots/employee cars/rooftops so the City of Seattle installed suicide phones on each pedestrian entrance point and in the center.

The suicide phones, by the way, were investigated by a staff writer The Stranger. went to one of the phones about a month after being installed, and was placed on Auto-Hold. for about 5 minutes.

as for the Route 7. that is one of the worst bus line in the city of Seattle. I rode that bus once in the middle of the day, realized after i sat down, the guy in the next seat over from me had shit himself. some skanky white dude. look like a homeless heroin junkie. totally crowded bus, and everyone was disgustipated. once we got downtown, this nicely dressed black woman stood up to exit the bus, and quickly and discretely whipped out a bottle of perfume, squirted him like 3 or 4 times, then continued on as if nothing had happened.

I have to say I never experienced anything crazy on the Seattle buses but I also only road them for a few days while visiting friends

yeah, that's normal. i've been riding them for years and 99.99% of the time, nothing ever happens

personally, i've never had a bad incident happen to me. or even really seen anything fucked up other than some hoodrats making noise now and then.

but every so often, something fucked up happens, and the story catches the local media on fire.



(tho... one time i was the aggressor, and i almost came to blows with someone about a window being open. i felt kind of stupid afterwards. i was kind of an asshole. )
