The fundamental problem here is “type”. Portman and Kunis fit the lithe athletic build to a T, and thus don’t strike an immediate chord with those who generally prefer more defined womanly features. This is fine when objectionably critiquing them; you can lambast them all you want for their shortcomings, but failing to acknowledge their beauty is just a gross overgeneralization and stubbornness to veer from your preconceived notions of what is attractive and what is not.

This isn’t a girl from the checkout counter at Harris Teeter that you might fuck if you play your cards right. These are two of the most recognizable under 30 women in the world. You’re not going to fuck them, you’re not going to meet them, and you’ll probably never even be within 50 miles of them. They exist for you, for me, for most of the general public only as objects of desire. Objects, because their personalities, their opinions, their tastes in music, food, etc. have no bearing on how we perceive them. We’re only interested in their relative attractiveness compared to others. In the Alba-Biel-Johansson pantheon of celebrity, they hold their own. You can compare and contrast them to within that sect, but to bring them down to a civilian level, to say that they’re “not that hot” or that a girl in your building is prettier…that’s just asinine, and comes across as childish. They may not be your ideal woman, but to suggest that they don’t strike your fancy, or that you wouldn’t approach them in a social setting, is outright blashphemy.

tl;dr version…Only an idiot or a homosexual would publicly state that they’re not attracted to Mila Kunis or Natalie Portman.

The popularity of Portman is a result of her hollywood success and not off of her physical attraction. If you walked into any fine dining restaurant or bar and natalie portman was there dressed for the occasion, she would not stick out at you and odds are there would be a better looking woman that would catch your attention.

Now, same scenario but instead someone like Jolie (in prime) or alba was there, you would not be able to take your eyes off of that table.

It is all argumentative, but I think that I am correct.

lulz Im not usually argumentative and don't care about opinions that much, but in this particular situation I think that hollywood and mainstream entertainment brainwashes the general population to think that certain people (like portman, scar jo, eminem, and beiber) are special when they really aren't.

yeah actually I saw those pics a couple months back with her as a stripper and she does have a pretty good ass which I think I acknowledged, I just think the rest of her particularly her face is very overrated

to summarize my argument: I would give her a 7/8 out of 10 and I would love to date a 8/10 but she doesn't compare to the 10/10s you see in hollywood, and it's not just a boob thing, keira knightley is much hotter I would say when she isn't in some anorexic episode though
