This is getting bad. It's harder to find stuff I recognize anymore. God forbid I have to learn how to make these myself.

That baseball episode was a nice break from the weirdness.

I don't watch much, but if it says Macross, then I'm there.

Here is the best college advice you will ever get:

Join groups that increase your chances of meeting attractive chicks. Anything else is a waste of fucking time, and choosing to waste your time with a bunch of socially inept guys is one of the worst decisions you can make. You are better off just watching this anime shit by yourself.

Very true. Anime is like porn in a sense. It's fun to watch by yourself but when you meet the people who watch it and try to watch in groups, it loses its luster pretty quickly.

Konata as Haruhi

I've seen a few Tessa gifs but most of them suck. Maybe she just sucks in general.

There's girls there too, but they're usually either underaged or crazy.

I imagine most otaku women are as attractive as otaku men.

^ You'd be surprised, but they probably fall into the camp of crazy.

Chidori doing the stereotypical tsundere routine.

One of the few male characters in lucky star. He has hilarious bits, though.

I never figured out why there is such a negative connotation when it comes to anime. I thought it was gay all through high school and constantly ragged on my friend's brother for watching it. I mean, I'd seen episodes of Dragon Ball when they still had it on Cartoon Network, but I never associated that with anime nor did I really like the series.

My senior year of high school, one of my friends got me baked and really wanted to watch this movie.

I said no because it was anime and I thought it would be terrible. It turned out to be fucking awesome. Guy walks around with a big sword killing monsters in pretty gruesome detail. Still thought anime was gay though.

Freshman year of college, my high school friend at Rice told me to start watching this:

I thought was absurdly funny that someone went to all the trouble to make a cartoon about tennis. It turned out to be an ok series. The kids had Dragon-Ballesque shots/techniques they would use on the court in matches that spanned multiple episodes. Still thought anime in general was pretty gay.

Then they started airing this in Japan:

Awesome stuff. It only took translators a few days to add subtitles to the episodes so you could follow along pretty regularly.

So multiple series later, my conclusion was anime is enjoyable, but some of it is still pretty gay.

tl;dr or cool story, bro:
Anime - not as gay as you'd think.
