^ Life's too short was awesome. I found all of the old XFM shows (Ricky, Merchant, Pilkington). Some of the funniest stuff ever if you are a fan of their podcasts.

Agreed. I said the same thing when we were watching the Africa episode.

Haha it seems like each episode of this season so far has at least one part that makes me laugh so hard that I cry. This week's one was when he was walking and started falling down and tried to grab the tree.

Since when do Amish people have homes with screen doors and gutters

aha, didnt notice that. I did feel that something about the amish scene wasnt right, like it was faked, but not certain why I thought that. something about the way they reacted to his questions seemed...odd.

like how would that lady have known that most of the world doesnt like mushy peas if she's been living in isolation her whole llife

I don't think Amish are isolationists are they?

Well they don't have TV's, radios or computers. They grow their own food and make their own clothes. They build their own houses and farms. They aren't technically isolationist as in shunning contact with the outside world, but they definitely have no need to as they take care of their needs on their own. I would think contact with anyone non-amish and non-media related is very very minimal.

Amish folks still sell fruit/vegetables/goods to non-Amish folks, I've seen them doing so before. It's possible that they may have just been unsuccessful selling their mushy peas.

makes sense, it wasn't just that, it was the whole interaction. I dunno, can't put my finger on it but something about it seemed fake.

anyway the gold mining, monster truck and plane scene were fantastic

Oh yeah the gold mining dude... I love how he answers the door and has three handguns on him already. I do find it surprising though that Karl was willing to climb up onto the top of that plane in mid flight but he wouldn't bunjee jump. He didn't even look strapped in or hooked on to anything when he was climbing it.

don't forget each amish persons sojourn into the connected world during Rumspringa. Perhaps she witnessed first hand the dislike everyone has for mushy peas while drinking and smoking and having unprotected sex

A lot of good moments in that episode but I think my favorite was his face when she was talking about people getting erections during cuddling. Overall I like this season better but they're both pretty awesome.

I didn't find it funny at all really. There were a few chuckle worthy moments, but nothing close to the first 2 series. A lot of the humor from the first one was due to Karl being so out of place and being forced to interact with people that he wouldn't normally be around, and I don't know if it was just because he was so used to it by now, or because he had Warrick to pal around with or a combination of both, but there just wasn't as many opportunities for those awkward moments that made the first 2 series so great.

From what I can tell it's only aired in the UK. It usually airs on National Geographic here.
