We did not. We got home at 11 and had to be up at 3 to head to.the air port. Didn't do it the next night either because we had been flying/traveling for 15 hours.

sounds like a lot of people planned their honeymoon the day after their wedding. We waited a couple of weeks to go on our honeymoon so that we didn't have to be stressed about anything after the wedding.

Not married, but I was helping two of my friends who got married break down their wedding and carry stuff back to their house...once I was done, I joked that I'd better get out of there so they could get to it, and the bride just collapsed on the couch and said, "No. I'm tired and I've been roasting all day. There will be no romance tonight."

Admittedly this couple already had a kid and had been living together for years, so I suppose it wasn't exactly urgent. I would bet that for people that "save themselves" for marriage the wedding night sex rate is about 100%.
