Glad Haley is gone! I like Lauren, and her home visit was nice and sentimental. But I'm all for Scotty! Loved the NC State comforter and how his dad was rocking the sweater vest. GO PACK! Scotty is so humble....definitely am rootin' for him. I was hoping he'd show the NC State baseball game clips of him throwing the first pitch and all, but I guess he wanted to show things more personal to him (school, job, etc).

scotty has corrected the way he holds that mic..at least the last few episodes... i think someone finally told him... minor stuff like that is easily corrected

I don't even remember there was an American Idol last year.

Lauren sings like she's at her school's talent show. There's nothing "amazing" about her to me. She looks every bit of a 16 year old trying to be a 32 year old on stage. I'm surprised their stylists didn't get a hold of her to remind her of her age.

Scotty will sell out shows because he's likable (and country music lovers are gullible haha). He's also easily trainable (i.e. his mic issue) so he would be a good "artist" for a label.

Lauren will prob record an album so she'll be fine, and so will miss attitude Haley.

I don't see where everyone thinks she was "phenomenal" with that last performance. Yeah, it was a good song and very emotional for her, but that IMO doesn't justify it being PHENOMENAL. A "PHENOMENAL" performance would be any of Carrie Underwoods on AI a few years back. Yeah, I'm in love with her! NO HOMO
