two days ago i pulled one off my inner thigh when i woke up in the morning

i lost track of the crawlers, lord knows

its gotten to the point where as im walking through the woods i am using my wading staff to wack at any vegetation ahead of me, be it on the ground or trees and shrubs, in order to hopefully dislodge waiting ticks

I'm about to go camping up in MA with a friend. I'm under the impression the ticks are pretty bad up here, but I don't really know what to expect. Probably not a huge deal.

Do you people live in the woods?

I would have figured the colder winter would have killed a lot off for this summer

yo tick homies

how long should a tick bite be red and swollen and itchy? its been 2 weeks. my other bite went away and you can hardly even see where it was

this one, is still raised, red, itchy. no spreading redness around it that i can tell. am i supposed to like, circle that shit with a pen now and monitor the redness? just figured it would have gone away by now. and it still itches!!!

scratch the shit out of it until you have a cut. cuts don't itch.

Roughly 2-3 weeks swollen/itchy, but the red mark will last a while longer than the itching.

Had 4 seed ticks bite me today before I realized I was covered in them. Spent about an hour trying to make sure I got rid of all of them from my clothing, but I'm sure I'll find some on me at some point.
