I was out and about a couple weeks ago and I come across a bunch of girls making fun at a guy for wearing denim and a button down, because that's so "boring". This guy was actually decent looking enough to warrant some attention and they were totally turned down by his style.

it is not about showing up wearing +300$ worth of clothes, its about showing up and looking put together. And believe me, it is real easy to fuck up something as simple as jeans and a t shirt.

You know clothes from stores other than walmart go on sale, right? You can get a nice pair of pants from j. crew for 19.99 or 24.99 and look like you actually have some shape. Excuse me if I value someone who i smart enough to take pride in their appearance. Also, clothing choice can often reflect personality and anyone who cares too little to take care of themselves will care too little about taking care of a home, car or a thousand other particulars in life.
