This has to be the worst ad I have ever seen for an accredited institution. I try to look at it unbiased, I've shown it to people who are strangers to Peace College and WPU and everyone agrees with how terrible this ad is.

This is in the Independent and I just shudder thinking how many people will see this.

I feel so sad and embarrassed. I mean, is this what happens when you cut the graphic design major?

I have always felt proud to have gone to Peace. I love my degree and what it has done for me. But slowly I'm feeling that slipping. The more of this shit I see the more embarrassed I get. All of my professors are now gone. All of them have been forced to retire early or have had their tenure ended.

I have never felt this disconnected from my school.

Right now I'm figuring out grad school and I hope I get everything together and settled before much more happens to the foundation at Peace, like losing their accreditation etc (I see this happening down the road) I know my degree is accredited but I don't want to have to explain this

all they have succeeded in doing is cutting ties with all their alum and faithful donors. They will realize it eventually.
They say they will make more money and be better off financially yet they have to spend more money to accomodate the increased number of students and male students, plus they lose money from folks who used to donate but no longer will.

That ad is a joke. All the alumni I know think it is hideous and ridiculous. What are they thinking over there?

raleigh charter moved to glenwood, but I doubt Peace would want the mill and I don't think they can raze it since it's a historic property.

oh wow i didn't even realize they had moved. i just googled it. i'm assuming they moved to accommodate larger class sizes? when my brother started at RCHS, it was over behind Peace.

Yeah I think it was a combo of size, facility issues, and landlord issues. They are in the old Methodist building now on Glenwood.
