I don't see how it's gay to tailgate with mostly guys. When in a ltr I'd welcome the opportunity to get fucked up with the guys and go watch football. I highly doubt you hear too many married guts at tailgates saying, "boy I really wish my wife was here. shed make this day of binging and staring at college coeds much more enjoyable."

I only remember cornhole getting really big the last few years.. To bad lawn darts didn't stay around those would have been fun to have out on the fairgrounds especially after a few hours of drinking.

I think that is the case with most people, I'm ok sober, great when I have a buzz going, and then it is just downhill from that point of buzz-> drunk. Once drunk quit playing cornhole anyway and switch to something like beer pong or flip cup.

^Don't think that is true at all. Plenty of things I'm better at sober and it just goes right downhill from the first beer and on(real sports here). And there are things that I'm progressively better at even wasted, like beer pong the drunk I am the better.

Inevitably I'm terrible at everything when black-out, except throwing up in bushes.

I know a lot of people bad at playing poker when drunk... and then that's some easy money right there.

Most of the bars in downtown Raleigh you can't label anyway. Outside of a few extreme outliers you'll get the same mish mosh of people anywhere downtown. And on a Saturday night all the places do the same thing, "Oh shit it's Saturday night lets crank up shitty music, turn down the lights and pretend we are a dance club."
