Same thing happened at my school a few months ago. Some random guy walking up the road - not even on campus - with one of these on his back, and parents flipped out and called the police. I just happened to see this person walking up the sidewalk while on my way in that morning and recognized what he was carrying since I had kinda wanted one for myself. (Well, I DID before this stupidity.) The school was on lockdown for almost an hour and at least 8 police units were patrolling the campus due to a vicious umbrella.

I telling my wife about this story last night and she thought I was crazy when I said this guy could become a local celebrity. If he plays it up, this could be a huge win for him.
