I would trade the valuable closers and keep the closers deemed as less valuable. Closers are a dime a dozen and someone is bound to overvalue the "higher value" closers

their stats are awful and worthless, they don't tell you who is starting that day and who is benched like yahoo does, the interface is *facepalm* .. their research tab is worthless... their player search is garbage .. their ranking system is garbage .. the league rankings are not updated consistently ... its all just been one frustrating experience

I like yahoo's notes about a player, esp when I'm trying to catch up with yesterday's action. Combined with the fact that they got Rotoworld notes and, well, I've been using it for 13 years, I don't see myself ever migrating from Yahoo to ESPN. I will say it took Yahoo arguably a long time to introduce newer things like an auction draft (which I don't do) and keepers and stuff like that. Also, while I used to pay for Stattracker (I think it was $10/yr) for no good reason, they were a little late making that shit free. They probably realized they were losing one of their best assets (fantasy players) and made some major adjustments... ESPN probably still got a nice swell in the meanwhile though.

I thought ESPN would have some sort of visual alert (like "!!") when someone wasn't starting that day but was in your roster? I know if you PAY ESPN they'll send you text messages with warnings. Fuck you, ESPN.

^^They have the PP in bright blue next to pitchers names when they are expected to pitch on a selected day, but they aren't always real accurate.

^ They do put a red ! next to someone if he is in your starting lineup and is not starting on the day but a lot of times the lineup card is posted late so you have to check about 1-2 hours before game time to see the note. I don't know anything about getting an alert sent to you though and I don't think the PP or red asterisk show up on the mobile app.

any other Brandon League owners considering doing something with him? in his last 10 appearances he's 0-2 with 3 saves...some of those appearances weren't save situations, and his ERA isn't TOO terrible at 3.93, but 11/10 K:BB ratio isn't looking good...I'd consider dropping him for Dale Thayer but I dunno how long he's gonna be closer (depending on when Street comes back off the DL)

Lawrie is a possible stud if he can stay healthy, McCann's best years are behind him. Plus I don't see how he could take over when Gattis is hitting so well.

I think McCann will get plenty of AB when he comes back. Gattis will stay on the roster, but can also play 1b and OF, so he's got flexibility to stay and get AB even if not at C.

now, whether or not Mac will be productive is a whole 'nother animal.

I swear I am a jinx to the players I draft. Last year I had guys like Adrian Gonzalez, Hanley Ramirez, Heath Bell, Jose Valverde, Ian Kinsler, etc and this year I've got guys like Matt Cain, Giancarlo Staton, Yovani Gallardo, Adam Dunn (at least hit some HRs you fat ass) all sucking huge cock.

I made an ass load of moves last year just to try and get in the top-5 and it looks like I'll have to do the same this year.
