Looking like a New Orleans Landfall again.

A few storms have threatened to make landfall there since katrina but never did.

"Isaac" just won't die! The remnant moisture and surface low are sliding off the Gulf coast today. It now has a 40% chance at development. This would be called "Nadine" if it can get going again.

It definitely floods a lot here...but that's the worst I've ever seen it in 8 years. Even my "safe routes" downtown were in jeopardy. I managed to get home dry...but I was blocked in my neighborhood after that.

Sandy's on the clock

I don't trust the hurricane tracking that keeps Sandy hundreds of miles off the NC coast. Once Sandy crosses Jamaica and picks up all that weed it could end up anywhere

If they shut the bridges around Philly like they did last year, I'm calling in sick.
