You better bet, if i had found a state apron, i would have gotten that too.

And i thought we were past the 'omfg a girl in sports talk!' after last season.

That, and the need to picture a nameless girl on the internet naked in an apron in the kitchen.

UT's #2 TE is possibly out... this could be big if anything happens to Rivera (starting TE). Would have been huge last year when they ran more two TE sets, but with Cordarrelle Patterson now they have mostly been running 3 WRs in camp.

^^ god I miss EB. They made that before his last season as part of a series of Heisman campaign videos, but under Monte's system he played up on the line mostly as a run stopper and didn't drop back at all and a run stopping safety isn't going to win shit.

sorry for posting something 18 hours old that wasn't yet posted in the thread

i just thought it was an interesting article since a 4* recruit left Tennessee for community college since Tennessee broke a lot of promises they had made to him

That's forever on the Internet and you know it. And more accurate would be "it's an article about a 4 star recruit leaving who CLAIMS broken promises"

speaking of Da'Rick... some interesting perspectives on State's first opponent from Saturday's Down South:

http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/2012/sec-wide-receiver-superlatives/
Quote :
"Most Physical: Da’Rick Rogers, Tennessee (JR)
Da’Rick Rogers is almost the complete package at wide receiver. He’s big (6-3, 210), fast and very physical, but he lacks attitude. He’s been knocked in his short career for having a selfish attitude on the field and in the locker room. We’ll find out how much he matured in the off-season rather quickly. Rogers returns as the SEC’s leading receiver with 1,040 yards, minus Ryan Swope, and added nine touchdowns. His build and physical presence in the SEC is second to none, and he looks to make strides at becoming an elite receiver this season, if he can get his issues cleared up."

Quote :
"Highest Ceiling: Justin Hunter, Tennessee (SR)
While Hamilton is the complete receiver in the SEC, because he’s proven it over the last few years, Justin Hunter has the most upside at the position in the SEC. The track star also excels on the gridiron, and he might be the complete package before this season is over. In an unfortunate turn of events in 2011, Hunter went down in game three with an ACL injury against Florida and missed the remainder of the season. At 6-4, 205 pounds, Hunter catches everything in a 10’ radius. During his freshman season and before his injury last year, Hunter racked up 22.1 yards per reception. We haven’t seen this kid play for a full season yet, and he could be the top wide receiver taken in next year’s draft."

Quote :
"Best New Comer: Cordarrelle Patterson, Tennessee (JR)
There has been a lot of preseason hype for Tennessee newcomer Cordarrelle Patterson. At 6-4, 225 pounds, even fellow receivers Da’Rick Rogers and Justin Hunter are taking note of his ability. Tyler Bray has described Patterson as a mix between Rogers and Hunter. Other teammates have expressed his body control on routes and in the open field. It will be fun watching Patterson team up with Rogers and Hunter, with Tyler Bray throwing them passes. This passing offense has a chance to be one of the best in the country."

Quote :
"Best Arm: Tyler Bray, Tennessee (JR)
Tyler Bray gives Tennessee a downfield threat every play with his Howitzer. Often times last year, he would roll out of the pocket and make impressive throws on the run, as well as tough off-balance throws wandering around the pocket. Scouts will grade him as an early draft pick on arm strength alone, but he has the pocket presence to go along with the arm strength. He has so much raw ability to play the position. Bray can make all the throws on the field from the deep route to the quick hitches, and from sideline to sideline."

Quote :
"Most to Prove: Tyler Bray, Tennessee (JR)
Bray has much to prove this season. He was out for five games last year with a broken thumb, and he’s been in and out of the news this off-season for doing senseless off-the-field blunders. We haven’t even seen him for an entire season yet. Bray needs to rise to the occasion in a make-or-break year for his head coach. He has a ton of weapons at receiver at his disposal and really looks to elevate his game and prove Tennessee’s offense has the best aerial attack in the SEC. There are a lot of expectations mounting for the Vols to show improvement. Bray has to prove to fans and teammates he’s a leader, and that the selfishness and youth is a thing of the past."
