that said, lots of chemistry issues tonight. When your fourth line is your best... there may be some shuffling to do. We'll know much more about this team's chances in another week or two.

I like the HF Boards slogan that came from today "Do Meth for Seth" or something to that jist. We could really use a legit future #1 defenseman. Joni is a #2 being forced into #1 and we should've played McBain tonight, I like Sangs, but McBain in my opinion will always be better than Corvo and probably better than Sangs could be.

I thought Corvo looked pretty good in the scrimmage and otherwise during the short camp, but he just looked retarded out there tonight. Unfortunately JR was nice with the NMC in his contract because he could quickly become the healthy scratch.

The Joni #2 thing is dead on. I just can't get over letting Allen go.

And while it's easy to say we just had one bad period...giving them a 5 point cushion makes them pull way off the gas for the other two. But we did play pretty good for a while in there. It's just being a bit too friendly to our play tonight.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Semin move to J. Staal's line...assuming he stops passing as much as he was and just let's em rip.
