my brother & his wife are/were very good friends with nation & jamie. they had dinner over there a couple of weeks ago. my brother said they were talking about gun control & whatnot, & nation said he didn't have a gun & had no idea what he'd do if someone broke in their house/came after them.

Stems from the days of chat rooms and forums similar to TWW. Anonymity, place to get out some passive aggressive shit etc. People have an internet persona that is different from them but I think this is slowly disappearing. Actually read an interesting article on this the other day... talked about how FB and such where it is YOU and not a separate alias and how people are acting more like themselves. i know pancreatic cancer can be extremely painful, very fast progressing, & is one of the tougher cancers to treat. life expectancy generally isn't very long with that diagnosis. since he apparently had his driver's license revoked, had no vehicle insurance, was caught driving, and now this...i just wonder if he had snapped or something. maybe he figured he wasn't going to make it so he was going to do whatever the hell he wanted. idk

When it comes to pancreatic cancer, people who are very close to this have no idea where the media is getting this information about pancreatic cancer from. As far as they know, no one has cancer.
