I am definitely going to get tired of seeing Neymar act like his first born has been crucified every time he gets touched

Very intense game! Big swing there with that great save from David luiz and then of course neymar being neymar. They have really confused Spain wonder if they will be able to adjust and get back into this second half.

Moyes:

Quote :
""I have had a chance to speak to Wayne. The fact of the matter is Wayne is not for sale. He is a Manchester United player an will remain a Manchester United player."
"

Aaaand he just third personed himself

Quote :
""All I can do is what David Moyes has done before. I will definitely uphold the traditions of Manchester United but I will things my own way. I am privigled to be taking over as the champions of England."
"

Quote :
""I feel incredibly privileged to be given the honour.

"I knew nothing at all about his until Sir Alex gave me a call and asked me to come to his house. I expected him to say he was giving to take one of my players and he said to me I am retiring next week and his next words were you are the next Manchester United manager.

"I didn't get a chance to say yes or no. The blood drained from my face. I was shocked he was retiring and delighted to get the chance to manage Manchester United.""

I think they got a number wrong with his birth year -- think it should read 1978.

Unless maybe he's suffering from Greg Oden disease.

If Josmer and Clint end up on the same squad that would be pretty cool.

i'm inclined to say there's no fucking way barca sells fabregas to us. but it would be worth just about any price simply for the reaction of arsenal fans seeing a united team led by cesc and rvp win another title.

All going to plan. Napoli will get Higuain, Real will use fee to get Suarez, Spurs will get Benteke and Arsene will say "Giroud will improve his finishing in his second season."

^ fwiw, at the price United offered Arsenal still has first right of refusal; but that would require spending money so...

I keep reading that but I don't think I ever saw it from a club official or anything. Is that 100% confirmed?

it would come down to Cesc picking where to go if the bid is accepted and Arsenal match it. i don't think Cesc would pick Arsenal over United.

Really? Maybe I'm just being naive but I don't see that being the case. Maybe if Fergie was still there, but not now. Fabregas by all accounts still loves Arsenal and has a great relationship with Wenger. There was also something about his girlfriend wanting to raise their daughter in London but who knows if any of that tabloid crap is remotely true.

obviously none of us know what fabregas is thinking, but the way i see it is cesc wants to win above all else and Arsenal today is further from winning a title than when fabregas was there before. also, while fabregas would step straight into the arsenal team, getting him would cause some disruptions. fabregas, wilshere, ramsey, and arteta all vying for the same space in midfield. at united he would be a perfect fit next to carrick.

Let me set you delusional people straight.

Fabregas is going nowhere.

Rooney is going somewhere, but the deal information was confirmed to be false. Obviously they would take Mata if they're even thinking about Fabregas. Would anyone here rather have Fabregas than Mata? Follow up question: seriously?

On second thought, Luiz would be an even better get for the position they need filled. A guy who can play in both a holding role or defense? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

at united? yes. fabregas's best position is central midfield, and our biggest weakness happens to be the CM spot next to carrick.

as far as luiz goes, fuck that. we have rio, vidic, evans, jones, smalling, and we've been linked to garay all summer, and now being linked to marquinhos.

and another reason why we have no use for luiz...

Good point, if Luiz, Young and Nani were all playing together you'd have guys flopping and diving all over the pitch .

Oh my bad. I forgot diving wasn't in the outline for United's club philosophy that we were given by whats-his-face.
