He will be fine. Apparently you can be shitfaced drunk and run over another nigger and you're back playing football in two years or so. I don't see much more time away

running somebody over when you're drunk isn't quite the same as premeditated executions of 3+ people

Quote :
"EA Sports, the maker of the popular video games "Madden NFL 25" and "NCAA Football 14", has opted to remove former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez from each game, a company spokesperson told CBSSports.com.

Hernandez is currently in jail in relation to six charges, including a charge for the murder of Odin Lloyd, and was released by the Patriots shortly after his arrest. NFL teams were notified that no contract for Hernandez would be approved prior to the resolution of his charges, as the NFL would need to further investigate possible league punishment for his actions.

An image of Hernandez on a card appears in "NCAA Football 14" as a Nike Skills Trainer reward for an achievement, but the company spokesperson added that the image will soon be removed.

"Because 'NCAA Football 14' was finalized prior to our decision, Hernandez's image still appears in the Nike Skills Trainer," he said. "However, he is not in the game, and anyone who unlocks that particular Nike Skills Trainer reward will receive an Alex Smith Ultimate Team player item instead. The image of Hernandez will be removed via a Title Update in the near future."

Hernandez, who starred at the University of Florida prior to being selected in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL draft, was signed to a five-year extension worth roughly $39 million by the Patriots last August."

Quote :
"Massachusetts state police say they have found the gun used in a double murder in Boston to which former NFL tight end Aaron Hernandez has been linked.

According to a Masslive.com story, state police recovered the weapon on June 21 after Jailene Diaz-Ramos of Bristol, Conn., was involved in a traffic accident. Police found a .38-caliber Smith and Wesson revolver in a briefcase inside her vehicle following the accident.

Diaz-Ramos said she did not own the weapon and that she had given a ride to a man identified as “Chicago” and some of his friends a few days before the accident. She said the men were football players, and the briefcase belonged to them.

“She stated that they were football players and they put all their belongings in the trunk. She stated then she dropped them off at work and they left their belongings in the vehicle due to work,” court documents said."

from that article:

Quote :
"The other detail Rolling Stone released is that Bill Belichick was infuriated with Hernandez's "missed practices and thug-life stunts" and was close to cutting his star tight end. That helps explain why the Patriots cut Hernandez almost immediately after he was arrested at his house."

That doesnt make sense, why the Patriots would decide to invest a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with him just months earlier if he was pulling "thug-life stunts"? Also, I'm sure PCP is a drug that is tested for by the NFL, so why were there no negative tests?

seems like the story is just trying to drum up some wild allegations to gain readers

Damn, what an ending to the article!

Quote :
"So call him stupid or sloppy or a menace to society, Hernandez keeps catching the breaks. He’s gotten rich running to daylight after being hemmed in, shedding tacklers and accusers to escape. If he eludes pursuit again, there will be blame to go around, but no one can claim they didn’t see it coming. He’s been getting away with murder, figuratively, if not literally, his whole life.

Mike Pouncey subpoenea'd by Grand Jury

Quote :
"The source indicated that police are focusing in on Hernandez's potential involvement in interstate gun trafficking, which is being investigated by several agencies in multiple states -- at least Massachusetts, New York and Florida.

The extent of Pouncey's potential involvement is undetermined, but police are focusing on multiple transactions that involve him and Hernandez."

http://www.wralsportsfan.com/ex-patriots-player-due-in-court-in-2012-killings/13679483/

Quote :
"Prosecutor Patrick Haggan said that in the months leading up the shooting, Hernandez had become increasingly convinced that people "had been testing, trying or otherwise disrespecting him when he frequented nightclubs in the area."
...Haggan told the court Hernandez and a friend drove from Connecticut to Boston that night to go to a nightclub called Cure. They were standing at the edge of the dance floor when de Abreu accidentally bumped into Hernandez, smiled at him and did not apologize, according to prosecutors.
....Hernandez leaned out the driver's side, said "Yo, what's up now," followed by a racial slur, then fired at least five shots into the car, killing de Abreu and Furtado, Haggan said."

i mean he probably did it.

but when the prosecution has no motive, no weapon, and nothing other than a piece of gum that really counts as evidence, and instead gets you convicted because of 100 people giving testimony that kinda doesn't matter

i hope i never get arrested

As long as someone doesn't get murdered with your rental car keys in their pocket and you are on surveillance video going to/leaving the crime scene as well as on your own home security video with a gun just minutes from the time of the murder, I think you'll be fine.

Yeah, they don't have a smoking gun (or a gun at all), but there was more than enough evidence to convict him, especially since they didn't have to prove he pulled the trigger.
