you're welcome to argue that they shouldn't have arrested him, but they were within their rights to do so...you're welcome to argue that they shouldn't have shot a dog that was CLEARLY aggressive (for whatever reason) and threatening their safety, but they were within their rights to do so

If you ever approach a street full of cops/cop cars/swat teams, these are things you shouldn't do:

1 - Park your car close to the scene
2 - Blast music out of your car
3 - Walk near the scene with a big fucking dog
4 - Talk shit to the cops
5 - Put your big fucking dog in your car with the windows down

In fact #4 and #5 don't even need to be qualified. Just don't ever do those things.

I have had a cop at my door once, and the first thing he told me was that "I will shoot that dog" bc she was in the background freaking out.


this story is really sad, that dog was not being aggressive, and if you say it was, then you don't know dogs very well..... and perhaps this cop doesn't know dogs very well. I don't believe these cops are bad people, but they could have taken the dog by the leash and 'risked' being bitten instead of firing off and few rounds and scaring everyone. I still feel bad for the owner, no matter how big of a dummy he was being prior to his dog dying..... I would FLIP OUT if my dog was being killed like that in front of me... and I would be inclined to sue them like it was a family member shot down in the street bc that is how I feel about my animals
