You're setting a standard that I have no desire to reach. If I just "don't understand" because I've never lived in a community that isn't 75%+ white (and I don't even know if that's the case in Raleigh), then okay. I pick where I live based on several factors, one of them being crime rates. Guess what? The places where people own their homes and are 95% white happen to be the safest. There are a lot of reasons for that have nothing to do with the inherent attributes of any particular race or ethnicity.

Maybe I'm racially intolerant, I don't know. Apparently I can't know as long as I have a dick and white skin. I know that most of you fuckers voted for a guy that is ordering the slaughter of brown-skinned people by the thousands and would happily do so again if given the opportunity.

I generally agree with UJustWait84, but I'm pretty sure everything he just said is wrong.

We do have some segregated neighborhoods around NC (like almost every other place in the country), but there's still no way you can suggest this state is homogeneous.

And it's actually pretty messed up to go around touting your affluent/diverse suburbs and cities. NC's got a lot of poor parts...so that's our experience...that's where we come from. It's bullshit to try to put us down for that or to suggest our world view is perverted by that.

Really? Saying that predominantly black and Hispanic communities are low income is ignorant now? Can we cut the bullshit yet?

That's the point I'm trying to get across. There are somewhat diverse cities, but when you start looking at community level, there is a pretty clear division correlation between racial breakdown and income. This isn't an argument against the presence of racism or racial intolerance, it's just reality.

This is so racist. Crime rates are caused by over policing of minority areas. For example, there is way more illegal drug use in white neighborhoods but police are too busy putting every black that ever smokes weed in prison.
