don't have a car any more, but in Europe, the biggest fear imaginable is the fucking windows that are opened up completely for most of the day, but for what ever reason there are no screens or such. If you lose sight of your kid, it is conceivable that the would climb up on a couch or table and accidently just slip off the edge.
