I'm all about the Italian with no plain ham. The best guys offer to sub in more prosciutinni/cappacuolo for the ham.

When I was little, I used to get extra cheese, extra vinegar/oil, and mayo. But then my father accidentally revealed that it was a disgusting and embarrassing order.

as much as i love jersey mikes, their pricing at the peace street location is a bit out of whack, imo.

9 bucks and some change for a mini club combo
9 bucks and some change for a regular club combo, which is a daily special
almost 12 bucks for the same daily special with a large drink, because "then it's not the special anymore"

I feel like making the mini and regular combos so close to the same price, you're encouraging people to always go bigger and throw food away. and not being able to upsize the drink without losing the entire combo deal is ridiculous.

I got a giant #9 this evening...it was pretty good, but not (in my opinion) near as good as any of several Jimmy John's subs.For me, this thread was mostly hype.

Also, re earlier in the thread, I could (as claimed) pretty easily have eaten the whole thing a single sitting, but after eating 3 of the 4 pieces, I decided I'd save the other for later. Gonna hit that last 1/4 sammich before bed.

Sheets and Wawa have decent food for being gas stations. I think Wawa makes a better tasting sandwich than either Subway or Jersey Mikes, not like that is saying much though.

Which Wich is actually pretty good. Though, again, I never find myself near one at lunch time. When I was in Raleigh I'd hit up the one on Lake Boone frequently.
