^ the guy Gwiz wrestled last night (Coon) was the same guy who he beat 7-6 for the national championship last year, but had beaten Gwiz in the past for one of his two losses while at State.

Gwiz wrestles Kyle Snyder from Ohio State (who won the world championship at 213 in the fall) tonight for the championship , probably around 9:45 on ESPN
Renda finishes 3rd today after a tech fall win over #8
Gantt finishes 8th after losing 6-3 today to #6
Jack lost 3-2 to #8 Ward from UNC last night after beating him earlier in the year, so Jack didn't get All-American, but our 3 All-Americans this year ties the school record from 1992

^^^ one of the rare moments you'd see gwiz not manhandle his opponent. coon had a huge reach advantage on gwiz, couldn't even trip him when he had a leg up. coon is a huge dude. you're correct -- he did what he had to for the win.

i know next to nothing about snyder but that match is gettin a lot of hype. here's hopin gwiz can make it 3 in a row

Was a good match. I'm not hardcore wrestling fan, but we're still ACC champions. Wrestling gets no pub, but it's arguably the most pure competitive sport there is, and we're the best in the conference.
