While my taste for finer foods has grown as an adult...it has not come at the expense of my ability to eat poor college food. I can still destroy BOGO frozen pizzas and Kraft mac and cheese in record time. My affinity for cheap eats will never fade.

Man up? I'm sorry that when you went all bougie your palette took a turn. Just because we all make more money than we once did, doesn't mean certain foods stop tasting good.

Mac n' cheese + hot dogs for life nigga

I eat some shitty food almost every day and I have to say I have never even heard of m&c&hd. I'd give it a shot though.

These will change your entire perspective on hot dogs. There is an audible snap when you bite into them, leading to a thick rich interior where, for once, you're not overpowered by salt, and can really taste the meat and its natural goodness. Its delicious, and at 90 calories, two or three can make a nice meal.

And there's an infinite amount of ways to eat them. 27 seconds in the microwave and they're done. You can barehand them, dunk them in mustard, ranch, etc. You can wrap them in a piece of bread or a tortilla and make a Tom Ringler special. Chop them up, put them in eggs, or a salad, or even in some pasta, it makes a nice bolognese.

Remixed.

This will change your entire perspective on my hotdog. There is an audible snap when you bite into it, leading to a thick rich white custard where, for once, you're not overpowered by salt, and can really taste the meat and its natural goodness. Its delicious, and at 10 calories, twenty or thirty can make a nice meal.

I mean...I probably haven't had Kraft Mac & Cheese in 5+ years...but if put in front of my face and I'm not already full...I would easily destroy a whole box.

I'm fine with most hot dogs as long as they're on a grill (obviously microwaved and chopped up in mac and cheese will also do). A nice char and some charcoal smoke will make most dogs tasty.

I just boil them with the macaroni. Speed of preparation is my primary consideration when eating this dish.

polish sausage/brat and a bag of sauerkraut is just as easy as mac and cheese with hot dogs and a whole lot better. put sauerkraut and sausage in a pot, heat, eat.

[Edited on January 29, 2015 at 10:53 AM. Reason : now i need to find a place to get sauerkraut for lunch]
