Agreed! Someone on here a while back posted something about how they don't get along with their father and they had some heated things to say. No one cared though. OTOH, my cousin's dad is a drunk and my cousin posted on facebook that he never wants to see his dad again and that his dad called him stupid. He said he's sick of it. An hour later his sister made him delete the comment and the rest of the family tree thinks he's strange for posting that.

It's so nice to come some place where you can talk shit to/about people, but have no worries.

I was just looking through my saved topics. I've never deleted any thread that I have started. All I can say is lol! That G105 thread I started in 2011 had almost 2 pages of posts in 90 minutes. I wish tww was still like that.

I'm still not sure how the internet works that much these days, I mean when I was in high school it was amusing and funny to just use aim/chatrooms to randomly talk to new people (usually friends of friends and such) but now that doesn't exist anymore

Perhaps we all choose a date to say goodbye and that is that.

I still check this site often but it's hard to do so when only 4 topics per board are updated daily. I'm looking for a good, consistent distraction from what i'm doing at the office and with that little change it's hard.

Isn't the 15th year anniversary coming up?

While I mostly lurked on this site, I still checked in most days to see what was happening. At this point its just gotten sad whenever I come back.

For the last few years it was like going to see grandma at the old folks home. Sure she could be gone any day, but you enjoyed going in to see her, reminiscing and listening to her crazy stories and updating her on your life, which she barely understood.

Now, she's in the hospital, tied up to tubes and machines, sleeping most of the time and heavily medicated, and not really there inside. Everyone's just gathered around holding hands and praying that she passes soon, quietly and without pain so that they can begin grieving and moving on instead of sitting around waiting for the end.

In order to keep up with other forms of social media, TWW needs to adapt to include tags. Send a notification to an inbox when [user] is used, be able to search by ACTUAL topic instead of the title of a thread. Things like that.

TWW is a great place to chat since none of our parents and grandparents are around. Facebook is like childhood, you invite your friends over to play and you have to behave because your parents are right there watching you.
