I'm buying a cooler, what else would I be in it for?
Oh yea, that sticker so I can put it on my truck. So if RTIC and YETI are comparable in quality, and one is several hundred dollars more than the other? What else is there? Several hundred dollars for same quality will trump made in America every day 5/23/2016 1:05:14 PM |

the coleman xtreme and igloo maxcold has comparable performance in some of the tests i've seen, it's just that these are only injection molded and aren't going to be as rugged 5/23/2016 1:57:32 PM |

Grizzly is another popular brand.
--Oh another thing to keep in mind. The new Yeti coolers are bear proof which is a huge plus for some areas. Not having to lock up your cooler in your car is nice.

We have the Smedium yeti- and if you put in one 20 lb bag of ice with an 18 pack on Friday afternoon it's still cold as hell sunday afternoon.
Yeah, we paid a premium, but the cooler is extremely durable and functional. I saw the grizzley, igloo, and coleman- the coleman is actually quite competitive. But I opted for the yeti......shot the money gun. 5/23/2016 8:16:24 PM |

Why would you need to keep a 18 pack cold for 3 days. 5/24/2016 1:46:50 PM |

A Yeti Tundra 65 will fit 39 cans of beer. I could see why you would want to keep that many beers cold for 3 days. One cooler = beer for 1 person for 3 days. That's 13 beers a day. 5/24/2016 2:53:56 PM |

That may keep ice for a day.
We had a huge Yeti type cooler on a 4 day rafting trip. I was very impressed. It kept our beer and ice until the last day and it was sitting in the sun on the Colorado every day. 5/24/2016 3:18:27 PM |

Not everyone drinks every day while camping. And among those that do I would say the majority are not in it to get wasted.5/24/2016 4:53:09 PM |
