One of the dumbest of your post I ever read. You think the average high school kid knows NC State just as well as Duke or Kentucky? You think that he can successfully out recruit against top programs when NC State has not won a championship in 30 years and those programs won multiple?

No ones saying we should recruit against top programs. That being a goal is actually part of the problem. You don't have to have equal talent to keep duke from scoring on every play but you do have to have a decent quantity of talent. A team with 7 players is unacceptable ANYWHERE. A 2-9 conference record is unacceptable ANYWHERE. Zero seniors in year 5 is unacceptable ANYWHERE. We don't have enough players to play defense for an entire game so the season was over before it started. Thats an incredible failure especially considering the 5th year transfer rules that exist.

I know it's easy to forget since the only injury in college sports that seems to be spoken about is Amile Jefferson but Henderson is a HUGE loss. Imagine Lacey basically not suiting up at all last year. Scary.

What is Gotts fault, at least in part, is the amazing regression of a top-35 recruit in Anya. I actually don't hate our core if Henderson is healthy with the massive improvement of Abu.

That is swinging too far in the other direction, Lacey was near POY status. Ralston Turner maybe a better comparison, although again, Henderson may not have been quite that level.

All 3 of their numbers are pretty similar from their past schools. Lacey and Hendersons points are nearly identical, Ralstons were a little lower, shooting % are all pretty close. Lacey just handled the ball more than them. No real idea how good he might be
