Wow each of the power 5 conferences all had an embarrassing loss yesterday. UVA to Richmond, Wash St to Eastern Wash, Miss St to USA, Northwestern to Western Mich, and Iowa St to Northern Iowa. Greatest day in history for directional state universities.

A lot of close calls to for team like Muh Vawls, Arkansas, Wake, TCU, UF. SEC looks like a pile of shit right now save Alabama.

i didn't see that play live, but i was following on twitter, and by the reaction there you would think he had speared a guy on the sidelines in a wheelchair.

after watching the replays, i think there is a strong possibility that he didn't know the play was over. yeah, it's a nasty looking hit, but hey, at least he didn't stomp on a guy's nuts. now there's somebody that should be suspended for the season.

I guess anything is possible but the guy was nearly 10 yards downfield after the play was over and he had one arm raised doing a we're number one pose when he was close lined. Not to mention everyone else on the LSU team seemed to get the memo that the play was over.

^^^he's an offensive lineman who was engaged in blocking during the play. he sees a guy from the other team running towards him with the ball. if he hasn't heard a whistle, then he's doing what he's been taught to do.
