How about tipping on alcohol? If your meals are $50 and you also get a $50 bottle of wine, do you tip an extra $10 for the bottle of wine or less?

Why would there be a difference? Do you get a $50 entree and tip differently than five $10 appetizers?
1. Read the total amount of your bill 2. Tip on that amount

I get what he's saying... "a guy came by the table, and opened ONE (1) bottle of wine, which was significantly less work than preparing 5 drinks. Both are ~$50, but should not be tipped the same, because they didn't require the same amount of work." I've never heard that argument, but I get it. I still tip 20% of the total bill including wine service. 8/17/2018 6:15:35 AM

Are we talking a meal with drinks at a table or drinking at a bar? Bc the initial funny was a $50 bottle of wine during dinner.
