^I'm in Belgium right now. Was in a public square earlier today watching the game. It was fucking crazy. Everyone in the crowd was freaking out so much after those first two Japan goals. The amount of crazy it became after the equalizer, then that final goal in stoppage time was ridiculous. People have been riding around the streets on bikes wearing Belgian flags as capes and singing all night. Fun times.

Colombia almost got lucky last night. What a dirty bunch of twats. Ref had no control of the game. Glad to see England players giving it right back to Colombia. The team was deflated after that goal but they came back strong in the second half of ET. The mental fortitutde in this team is something not seen from England in forever. The pens were spot on too. What a memorable win this is for us.

The Colombia referee bitching is so weird considering the headbutt on Hendo got ignored. Should have been a red card then.

The officiating wasn't great but it was pretty consistently bad on both sides.

That's exactly how I want big games like this officiated, trying to keep 11 on the pitch but keeping it fair. These weren't zidane super saiyan headbutts, but the Colombian headbutt is a red by the laws and so was Henderson's later headbutt. Instead, they both got yellows and the match was better for it.

It's a shame that Colombia have become as whiny as some other CONMEBOL teams.

I think Uruguay is going to be a massive headache for France today. Two banks of four with the forward players harassing is going to take something special from France. Without Cavani though Uruguay loses a lot of its teeth. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 0-0 at the end of 90.
