It works no matter what happens. If Montreal matches? It fucks up their salary cap situation. If they don't? Hurricanes get a decent young forward prospect(with whom they probably already have a handshake agreement on an extension.) Yeah 6.1 million is an overpay for this season, but so what? If it pushes you over the cap, send some assets to a team to take Gardiners contract. He's already the 8th defenseman anyways.

I don't see him playing C here if he does end up coming. Could definitely see them trying him on the wing on the 2nd line with Necas and Trocheck.

So I don't get Bally South. I've been using stream east to watch the Hurricanes. Now it says "You have Ad Blocker On" but I shut mine off. How do I get around this? Also, how do I use a VPN for this? Last year when I tried to watch the Coastal Carolina game on watch ESPN it wouldn't let me log in. Once I logged off the VPN then I could log back into watch ESPN again. What VPN works?
