^^I'm glad to see this. The one area where KK has failed is the home ooc schedule. All of the big games have been on the road, or at neutral sites. In 22/23 we played Kansas and Vanderbilt at neutral sites. In 23/24 we were at Ole Miss and then played Vanderbilt, BYU, and Tennessee all at neutral sites. We should always have a P5 game at home even if they are awful because they'll still be a more entertaining game than 99% of the matchups with 1 bid conference teams.

As for what you asked I'm not sure whether he is the MOST decorated, but he is certainly the most RECENTLY decorated. Because we won the acc championship and made the final four last season.

Idk how you would define best or more decorated. But off the top of my head I would say you’d need recent success. A conference title in recent years. A deep tournament run in recent years. Can’t be just a one off either. Probably need consecutive appearances in the NCAAT. If you made the tourney in 2024 but not in 2023, that seems disqualifying. Need to have been at your current job more than a couple years. And it would help if you didn’t inherit a winning program. It’s far easier to keep winning than to build a winner. And lastly, I think a good measuring stick of success would be what’s the most consecutive elimination games you’ve won? Because if it’s, say, 9…well that’s a lot!

Does any coach fit that description? Probably not.

Hill looked more assertive in the second half. It was nice to see a guard get to the paint like that. Not sure how that will fare vs ACC teams. Was a little surprised McNeil was the last freshman off the bench. In the offseason I just assumed McNeil would be the more game-ready frosh. Herd and T Parker both looked solid. Styles seems like he’s in the same mold as maybe Torin Dorn. Except maybe he’s actually better than Dorn. Dennis Parker seems to do a lot of things well but didn’t contribute much offensively.

We will know more once James is back and healthy. But it’s hard to tell who the main guy will be this year. We may not be as guard dominant as years past under Keatts. MOC is solid but offensively not the typical KK scoring guard. Maybe Hill could be the main scorer. Styles can score but he’s not going to dominate the ball and create his own shot. It would be great if Pass can knock down some shots of the bench.

Dumb question, but does anyone know how the digital parking passes work? Going to my first game of the season soon and got the tickets and such, but the parking passes are digital instead of paper this year. Do you just scan it when you enter the lot/section and they trust you don't go into the wrong one?

Yes, they are color based. Premier is green. GA is red i think. and they point you towards your lot.

The more I watch Hill the more I really love his game. He's able to get to the rim and takes contact well. Hope we have a 3 point threat we can run a nice drive and dish game with him. Styles impressing me too.

Much to be worried about with the big men though.
