They'll figure it all out against Liverpool. This little stretch is showing how important Rodri is for them though obviously, and how the Ballon D'Or result was valid, regardless of what the Real Madrid hierarchy think of it.

I fully expect them to sign Zubimendi in January for whatever it costs, ride him for 6 months, and never play him again once Rodri comes back.

Funny how the narrative has changed in 5 months about Chelsea's spending. Also 2nd in the league in minutes played for players under 22. Now I don't think we will be challenging for the title this season but top 4 is a real possibility. I mean I would like for us to challenge just think Liverpool and Arsenal are just more experienced and able to weather runs of bad form which will always happen.

However, its been a great run of form over the last few weeks. The Bridge is becoming a fortress again.

How has the narrative changed? It's still an insane amount of money. Top 4 should be a minimum.

If a narrative changed I think it would be the manager swapping, seems like this one has found a system/rotation that works (maybe the old one would have gotten there who knows but this one has done well).

Also feels a little bit trying to stay below the radar/overly modest to keep saying Chelsea won't compete for the championship, the seasons almost halfway over and you're 2 points out! You're competing for it as we speak.
