i could not play COD3 with the wireless adapter. it wouldnt let me on despite being connected. i've played a few other games on it before and it was generally fine, but the game just disconnected me each time.

that said, i whipped out the ole 100ft ethernet and hooked that baby up. wireless is fine for just getting online, dl'ing demos/updates/arcade games, but you cant rely on it for the intensive stuff.

crackdown is a decent gta clone, but it is not appealing to me (the demo at least). i am sure it will make a lot of others happy tho. imo the godfather is the best gta clone, and i spent many happy hours with it.

shrug, the maps are hard to learn as it is. best to learn the 4-5 most common ones before you go buying map packs anyways (and even then you still payed 10 less than usual since it was 20 off).

the game is very fun. it is also worth mentioning that ppl only played 3-4 maps on CS normally and still played that for years (lets see: dust, dust2, italy, maybe 1 or 2 others but they werent as good).

Anyone get the percise aiming in Crackdown? Can't seem to get it to disarm peeps or shoot out tires.

Also, I'm guessing the gang members don't respawn as I killed all but the last two mexican bosses and the next two won't come up till I kill more gang members.

so after playing crackdown for 4 hours, we decided to try cod3 online...360 wouldnt even read the disc but every other game i have plays and works fine...must be that disk, im gonna swap it out for a new one.

My score is like 605. It'll probably increase since I'm playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance & NBA Street Homecourt (which comes out today, shame I won't get to play it until Saturday...long story). Plus, Lumines is that damn addictive. I got to get that one achievement where you need 70 blocks in 30 secs. I've gotten up to I think 49 or 52, but no where near 70.

^Hey man, more props to you knowing it'll be almost impossible to catch that. Virtua Fighter 5 got an 8.8 on the PS3 from IGN, so it'll probably be the same score on 360 since they just copy and paste reviews anyway for the same game on different platforms. Personally, I'm not too much into the VF series, but if they say it's good, I'll have to try it out. Plus, I wonder how much DOA4 is now that it's been out a year? Probably $35.

well i own maybe 12-15 games but i have rented a shit load

i mean i probably played nhl 2k6 for all of an hour to get the easy achievements for 1000 gamer points so the score is kind of misleading

but you gotta gimme daps on some of the scores, like 1000 points on Call of Duty 2

the highest scores on live were over 50,000 and that was months ago...those cats (many Japanese who can get additional games) buy EVERY arcade game and try to play every retail game too

sounds cool. that really isnt that hard, just get an easy game. playing something like kameo once through is enough for 6-700 pts. takes about 1 day. fight night is an easy 1k as are many other sports games.
