Anyway, this might be a stupid question but...
My PS3 is in an area of my aparment where it doesnt not get good wireless signal from my router. Is there a way to use an external wireless card instead of the internal wireless card in the ps3 that I can post closer to the router so as to get a better signal?

You could use that with an ethernet cord of any length, and there is a list out there somewhere of USB wireless ethernet adapters that are compatible with the PS3, but I'm too lazy too look it up.

I'm actually really glad they are putting rumble back in. I always thought it was so dumb taking it out. I've heard it said before that it's just a gimmick...which is true, but comeon - you actually kinda miss it when its not there. It's simple, yes, but a real nice thing...makes games feel solid.

I would like to know though if the retail version will allow you to put the whole damn thing on your HDD. THe main reason I am just going to download it is because I want the option of playing the game without having to put a disk in. I like the convenience.

I wonder just how big that file will be to download off PSN. It took me over 5 hours to download Heavenly Sword demo, so this scares me. I will definitely have to plug in with cat5 for this one.

Ok wow, this is huge. UT3 is going to have mouse + keyboard support. This also means that you should be be able to turn off autoaim and use that FragFX thing to aim, for those of you who bought that.

I think that feature is neat. I know MS's stance is to keep them seperate but now I hope they get pressure to allow mouse/keyboard. I mean for fucks sake, there's USB ports on the freakin front of the console and you can put whatever PC peripheral in there for other games like Phantasy Star Online. I think Epic/Ps3 have the right idea.

Why the hell not on an FPS like UT3?

Another thing is, if you don't put it on there, PC players will be waxing console players balls like nobody's business. I mean it's bad enough playing on your own PC as hard as you can get owned by the UT crowds.

Good stuff, MGS4 is looking better and better.

By the way, I found a neat little write up about MGS2 the other day. It's not really a transcript or an explanation of the plot, in fact it assumes intimate knowledge of the storyline. However, it does explain why the game did what it did. It's a good read for anyone who was pissed off that the main character throughout the majority of the game wasn't Snake.

Besides the fact the Lair EGM review was brought up 3 pages ago, can we withhold judgment on this game until there are more than just 3 review of it out in the wild, each with vastly differing opinions of the game? Not nearly enough people have played this game to completely throw it off the map yet.

I think the only thing we can infer from these reviews is that you may or may not like the controls. Otherwise, the game is a visual masterpiece and could still be tons of fun if you can master the controls.

It could be that they just suck, or maybe the reviewers from EGM just didn't like them. That's why I like Gamerankings. It gives you the average opinion of 30+ people who have played the game to completion, with a little more credibility than user reviews from amazon.com

Hahahaha, this is badass, the Warhawk server cluster is actually made up of a metric fuck ton of rack mounted PS3s!!! You would think they could save space (and money), by using custom boxes, but it doesn't make this any less awesome.
