Yet another episode with Tara's jaw about to fall off from quivering so much. Good grief that's the most annoying thing about this season. I'm ready for her to get written out of the show... stat.

Good to find out what Sookie is, and also respectable that the show admitted that "fairy" is pretty dumb as supernaturals go. Sookie's reaction to the news: "I'm a fairy?.... that's lame" was probably the same reaction as the majority of the show's viewers.

Go Hoyt, go! Glad to see him and Jessica together, at least for now.

Tommy is irritating. I liked him at first b/c I felt bad for him, but now he's been given everything he needs for a better life and is being a brat. Here's hoping Sam finds out about him attacking Hoyt and drops the hammer on him.

Werepanther or no werepanther, Crystal is one dumb bitch.

I think you guys are just on a high because the first half of this season was so unbelievably bad that this mediocre shit they are playing now seems like its the best thing ever.

This show has gone WAY downhill and there hasn't been more than one or two 'ok' sections all season.

The show is getting kinda predictable. The Vodoo stuff reminds me alot of MaryAnne. Expect to see her come back, maybe. Eric is going to fight the King after drinking alot of Sookie.

Still Team Eric even though he's locked Sookie in a basement...why?? Cause it's the smart thing to do!

"blah blah vampire emergency blah blah blah"

And lafayette's facial expressions during the V trip were hilarious

And oh I got standards...I just don't see anything wrong with enjoying candy once in awhile.

Except for the part where Godric was Eric's maker. The most recent book was all about Eric's maker and his most recent progeny and as far as I remember Appius is still alive at the end of it. They should stick closer to the books, most of this shit they've added has been super annoying or boring.

I'm pretty convinced that one of my buddies just googles shit from the books so that he can sound smart when he "calls it" from like ep1 of the season or from the first time we're introduced to a character.

And yes, HETEROBROSWATCHINVAMPSDOTCOM

No joke. If they can have 2 guys making out multiple times every episode, can they at least have a couple episodes with some topless chicks making out? Is that so much to ask???!?

Alan Ball can't not have sexual dysfunction or obsession in his projects. Dude must be freaky himself. And yes I came here to lol at Lafayette's childlike expressions during the vtrip. lol, right when they go into the room with jesus' grandma he looked like he walked into a candy store.

How can you hate Sam?

Otherwise all I got right now is .................................................

Godric burned quick bc he was old, so russell should burn faster even with fae blood. Since eric's had fae blood too he should burn slower than russell. Pam and Bill feed Sookie to heal so she can go out and save him. He may need some serious feedings, but he can't be dead. CANNOT be dead.

^ yeah, i was thinking they'll have Sookie go out and stake him while he's weak and before the sun kills them. No way they're killing off Eric.

I didn't think about the fact that Russel would burn faster. Even though when they were showing the clip of Godric burning up i commented about him burning up so fast because of his age.

Someone came up to me at the end of class on the first day of classes and asked me, "Are you related to the creator of True Blood? That would be so cool."

My last name is Ball, if that wasn't obvious.

Also no relation.

He stole my name.

Eric definitely does not die.

I was a little disappointed at how easily Russell was swayed into not killing Eric. That scene sucked. I expected way better for their confrontation.

last night was bad ass but im disappointed. Russel just walked outside, he hadn't even started burning, he could have easily ripped Eric's arm off and walked back inside.

^ good point. I was also a little surprised he didn't start burning by the time he was handcuffed. It had been just as long since Russel had drank Sookie's blood. Although, maybe it's not so much how long since you've drank it as how much exposure you "can take/ounce of her blood" or something.

But yeah, he could have easily drug Eric inside imo. At first I thought they were going to lock him outside so he couldn't get back in. But then I realized he'd just be able to run somewhere and get in the ground like bill did.

it's not the best written thing ever, but I'll buy it for the sake of enjoyment.

The handcuffs that Eric put on him were made of silver. It weakened him.

He got pissed of and beat that guy in his bar for starters. That was like the old Sam had come back out, when he had killed those two people earlier in his life. After his flashback to the whole thing he had just been drinking and pissy since.

as far as the godric thing...

he said he didn't feed which i guess made him weak

russell always feeds like crazy which keeps him strong

that's my guess as to why he didn't just turn to ash immediately like godric

So like, are we gonna get a Sookie/Eric/Bill threesome or what? I've watched like 30 episodes of this garbage, about time for some payoff (I will say the Jessica/Hoyte scene was hot as fuck).

The ending...SPOILER

*
*
*

Eric then walks over to the table where Sookie, Russell and Bill are sitting. Bill advises not to drain her since she's "the last part fae". Eric apologetically touches sookie's face before biting her. Russell gets impatient, grabs her wrist and chomps on down.

After nearly draining her, Eric walks out in to the sun while Pam and Russell look on from a security camera screen of the parking lot. Russell is as giddy as a school girl with the possibilities; Pam lightly cries partly for seeing Eric in the sun, partly bc she's worried he'll die. Bill pleads to feed Sookie. Pam says to Russell, "what are you waiting for?" and he goes outside. Eric has started to smolder a bit by the time Russell arrives outside.

He handcuffs Russell to him with silver handcuffs exclaiming, "be brave. We'll die together."

Credits.

fucking stupid. I'm sorry, I know I have to suspend my disbelief in this show and just take things as it is, but THAT is how he planned to beat Russell.

It just doesn't make any god damn sense. Why doesn't Russell drag Eric back inside? Or start digging into the ground?

Why couldn't Eric, or Pam, have just staked Russell when he was feeding on Sookie.....or instead of handcuffing himself to him? If he can be fast enough to handcuff him, couldn't he stake him through the heart?

stupid.

i agree only that if he could handcuff him he could potentially stake him BUT we are supposed to believe that Russel could potentially handle all 3 at the same time if he had to

however daywalking is a slight drain on their powers so its only at that point that he would be vulnerable. Logic would still dictate that a weak Russel still matches a strong Pam and Bill but now he is constrained in his movements because of Eric.

lol damn you for making me think harder than i wanted to about this clearly POPCORN genre, just watch it and enjoy it

I'm sorry, when a whole fucking season builds tension towards a specific plot, the end result better at least make some sense.

Why would Eric "sacrifice" himself to kill Russell? If Russell is so awesome and old and shit, why does he allow himself to be trapped and why can't he escape easily?

Why does Russell use shitty werewolves that apparently aren't any better at fighting than humans. In fact, the only things werewolves seem to be good at is running fast, being trashy, and fucking.

I'm sorry, but this show just monopolized stupid this season and the "climax" of that last episode was the coup de grace.
