she told the police in her taped statement that Nancy said her divorce lawyer had advised her to not be so "social"


on the stand she said the lawyer had told Nancy to not drink so much.


After playback of the statement to the police, she was pretty much forced to agree with what she had said before.






The bigger thing was the Defense just now asking her if she had emailed any of Nancy's friends and talked about their sworn affidavits, and possibly "aligning their stories" - and she said "absolutely not," but I'm thinking that the Defense has evidence to the contrary because he read a very specific statement from an email. Lady on the stand still claims to have never have said that.

Basically perjury.

Not quite--the witness stated that Nancy was wanting to spend more time with her girls, because they were her first priority. That she was cutting back on wine, to spend more time with her girls, because she wanted to spend more time with the girls.

The defense point was that she was cutting back on socializing because her attorney told her to. That's when the witness said "I never said socializing, define socializing." And the clip was played.
