Ron Paul Pulled in over 4000 at Michigan State (max capacity) and 2000 (max capacity) in Dearborn yet netted only 109,485 votes.

Ok, count the people that felt like coming to the rally....then count the hundreds of thousands more that didn't. Why do you feel the small sample size was representative of the larger total? A few thousand enthusiastic young adults can't compare to the tens of thousands of lazy (or busy) older people who didn't have time to come out to a rally but had time to stop in a polling place after work.

If more people go to a Romney rally, more people go out to vote for Romney.

It just doesn't make sense for people not to care enough to see their self-chosen future president of the United States IN PERSON, but to care enough to vote for them.

1,200:360,000 to 8,000:100,000 is not proportional.

The leading candidate always gets the highest number of people show up to their events.
