this game was a cavalcade of defensive zone turnovers by the canes, it's a miracle they got a point

I hate them too, and when I made that post we hadn't lost the game yet.

That said, I will have forgotten the score of this game within a couple of weeks, but I will never forget Tim Gleason's performance.

When Gleason scored the short-handed goal tonight, I lost it. Some old Caps fan in front of me (who was actually not that much of an ass at this point) turned around and tried to act like it was nothing. "He JUST tied it. No reason to get excited," he said. Needless to say, I let him have it....and then buried my head in OT.

I will be back up here next season for sure.

Also, who votes for the Canes making a nudie calendar for next season?

This is the sort of game I'd like the Canes to keep playing a lot of hard fought games where the guys who'll be here next year and in the future are the ones who perform (Staal, Ward, Tlusty, Gleason). Notice I said hard fought game and not hard fought win, I want that first pick to go on a line with Staal pretty badly right now.
