I think that Skyrim Online is too big and complicated to be done well with solely a community effort

Especially given the nature of the game, where you can just do whatever you want...including slaughtering towns and quest givers

finished the main quest and man i am disappointed. it seemed so short and easy to defeat Alduin, was hoping there would be more to it but nope, there wasn't. guess i will finish the Dark Brotherhood quests then consider a new character or move onto another game in my queue.

I just got this game today for PC. I plugged in my 360 controller and downloaded the "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller via Play & Charge Kit" so I could play with my controller vice using the keyboard. For some reason, the game isn't responding to my controller. Anyone have any ideas?

still on diplomatic immunity. i just get so, so distracted. i think once i finish the main quest i'll be able to put the game down and move on with my life, but i don't want it to end. i'm almost afraid of finishing the main quest because i know my stash will run out.

Im sure someone already mentioned it but WTF with the fast travel putting you outside the place you want to go to and not fast traveling from non-dungeon places. Especially for the thieves guild quests.

Fast travel to "thieves guild" = Load screen.
Riften to Cistern = Load screen.
Cistern to Flaggon = load screen.

Then repeat for leaving, * 100 because of all the damn small quests you have to do.

ps3... every load time takes ~3 minutes at the minimum.

it really sucks, but skyrim is just barely compelling enough to keep me playing. I usually use the load times as a chance to check my progress on walkthroughs and such.

I really thought my computer that I built for $700 2.5 years ago would barely play Skyrim; however, it plays remarkably well on high settings and the load times are short enough that I have to skim the tips if I want to read them.

I really feel bad for PS3 users trying to play Skyrim. Actually, I can probably make that a more direct statement and say I feel bad for PS3 users in general.

it takes about 3min to first load a game or if i go from one side of the map to the other but if im just opening up a new instance its maybe 10-15 seconds

I've got it installed on my SSD, it's great, there are almost no load times for anything. I've been playing on medium settings just for convenience (and also because my video card is old).

Just found that devin mallory book explaining those signs/carvings used by the guild. Some kewl stuff right there. I dont think I can "return the guild to its former glory" since I had to restart after a thieves guild glitch already, not to mention the tedious repetitive mini-quests and loading screens.

So what's the point of playing the game beyond having killed Alduin? I'm like level 52 and only took me about three hits to kill his ass while standing right in front of him and taking a full face of his dragon breath.

Is there any harder end-game material or will all the other quests be easier than that one?

I brought Lydia with me on a quest. She died when we got surrounded by like 15 dudes. Kept me from dying. Now I has no follower, though.

I thought she couldn't die.

Enemies stop attacking followers when they drop to a knee, but if they get hit before they recover their health they can still die.

I've been tripping over potential followers in nearly every city. I cleared three sprigans and a bear out of a cave and some random dude ran up and said "Wow you are awesome I will totally follow you now." The only follower I need is that dremora from the Sanguine Staff, lol.

enemies can't kill your followers, but if their health goes to zero and they drop to the ground and you do damage to them (most likely AoE damage), they will die

The enemy can kill them randomly I think in a huge fight like that, but yeah its otherwise pretty rare

I tried to sacrifice that College nightelf bitch to Boethiah as payback for fucking with me, but somehow the College knew about it immediately and I got expelled. Nevermind that I'm the god damn arch mage and the students are my pawns to play with as I see fit . I'm still looking for another follower to sac now I guess. Since starting thieves guild quests today I haven't had any followers.

Something is bugged out in the Forsworn Conspiracy mission.

I escaped the silver-mine with the king and now I can not do anything in Markarth without getting harrassed by guards. My bount is 3000 gold and I do not even get an option of paying it. Whenever approached they start the scripted line of I committed the murders and have to go to the mines. When I select arrest me, the dialog closes out and am back to square one.

Basically to conduct any business in Markarth I have to kill every guard I encounter.
