Stuck at 3-4 right now in my league (most points against in my league). My roster is as follows (We start 3 WR, 2 RB, no flex)
QB: Philip Rivers, Andrew Luck RB: Lesean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, Chris Johnson, Fred Jackson WR: AJ Green, Hakeem Nicks, Steve Smith (car), Kenny Britt, Malcolm Floyd TE: Jason Witten
I am torn on whether to leave my team as is, and hope my luck turns around, or try to trade either Lynch, or Johnson for a better WR.
Thoughts? Should I stay put, or seek a trade? 10/23/2012 10:14:04 PM |

I think I would probably go with Gordon. Smith, even at his best this season, hasn't been great.
Rashard Jennings @GB or Vick Ballard @TEN?

I'd go with Ballard over Jennings but it's close.
What type of RB could I move Greg Jennings for right now? I managed to pick up Jordy by moving SJax, so I'm looking for someone a little more dependable than him. Is that possible? Maybe Spiller or Sproles? 10/24/2012 12:36:09 PM |

I feel pretty confident in saying that even though he is currently 23rd in fantasy scoring he's going to end up being better than Sanchez, Locker, Ponder, Luck, RGIII, Palmer, Alex Smith, Fitzpatrick, and Vick. From a fantasy perspective he's probably on par with your Andy Dalton Tony Romo types." |
I took this advice after week 3 and dropped RGIII to nab Cassel off waivers.
Well, now Cassel has been benched for Brady Quinn and unfortunately I don't have any of the other 11 QB's he listed because his argument was so convincing that Cassel could anchor my QB spot.
Question: Do I now start Brady Quinn (who Cassel lost his starting spot to) or should I leave the QB position vacant this week? I can't decide if Brady Quinn is more likely to produce positive or negative points this week.
Please guys I have a match tonight.

These two weeks of byes are killing my team.
Mark Ingram or Danny Woodhead for RB (these are both guys that weren't on my original roster).
Jimmy Graham or pick up a random TE (Graham didn't play last week and it sounds like he's only improved marginally). Bennet, Finley, and Olsen are all available. Gresham is on my bench right now (with a bye). 10/25/2012 12:42:25 PM |

Ingram simply because Woodhead splits carries with 2 RBs and other WRs for certain plays. Ingram has potential to get goal line touches but his situation with P. Thomas is weird right now.
Graham until his status changes.
Quote : | "Graham (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, the Times-Picayune reports.
Recommendation: Interim coach Joe Vitt said that Graham "looked very good" in the little action he experienced Wednesday. However, since Graham was limited in practice last Thursday and Friday before sitting out Week 7's win in Tampa Bay, monitor his progress as the weekend draws near to be sure of his status Sunday night at Denver. I'd go with Woodhead over Ingram... Woodhead has been consistently getting 7-8 points per week as opposed to Ingram where if he doesn't score a TD he gets almost nothing...
I need a top RB and my receiving corps is Jordy Nelson, Hakeem Nicks, Julio Jones, Stevie Johnson, and Randall Cobb.
Who would you trade and who do you think I could get? Does Jordy Nelson for Ryan Mathews sound like a fair trade? 10/25/2012 2:00:45 PM |

Cobb or Johnson for Mathews. Nicks for Matthews might not be bad either. His health is a concern, much like RM.
Nelson will continue to get catches even when Jennings comes back. Cobb, I'm not so sure about. 10/25/2012 2:45:15 PM |

I would push cobb or Johnson...
more johnson then cobb if your league has return yards.
Pick one for Flex:
Santana Moss vs Pitt
or
Ballard vs Tenn
I am leaning towards Ballard. It is a .5 ppr league.
Pick one:
R. Jennings vs GB
or
Alex Green vs Jac
pretty much a toss up of shit.

i honestly would. Stewart isn't enticing, but Megatron for the average production of Floyd and Britt sure is. You can bump FJax up to starting RB and I don't think you'll lose much production from that position. Plus you will have one roster spot open to pick up a FA where you need one.
I need to pick my second RB and my Flex between these
J. Charles vs. Oak M. Turner @ Phi J. Jones vs. Jax
i'm leaning towards Charles and Jones and sitting M. Turner. But, i've also considered sitting Megatron this week against Seattle and starting all three. What say you? 10/26/2012 9:01:14 AM |

M. Turner's production could be predicted with a coin flip. For that reason, I swear to god I'm never drafting him again.
I'd probably go Charles and Turner even though it pains me to say that. 10/26/2012 10:09:59 AM |

Newton @ Chi Bradford vs NE 10/26/2012 11:48:01 AM |

flip a coin really.
Newton is off this year and Chicago laid the smack down last week but has such potential to go off every week. If he can't pass, he will run.
Bradford is going up against one of the worst secondaries that gave a rather stagnant Seattle offense almost 300 yards in the air.

I've got to make a tough decision. Jimmy Graham is a game time decision and my other TE (Owen Daniels) is on a bye. The available TEs right now are as follows:
Dustin Keller vs MIA Jacob Tamme vs NO Jared Cook vs IND David Thomas vs DEN Greg Olsen vs CHI
My expendable players:
Lance Moore, Rashad Jennings, and Shonn Greene. I was thinking about dropping Jennings but he's projected to get 16 pts this week. I hate to drop Daniels because he'll get snagged up as soon as I drop him.
My other RBs - D. Murray, F. Gore, M. Turner My other WRs - D. Bowe, H. Nicks
Thoughts? 10/26/2012 4:55:11 PM |
Steven All American 6156 Posts user info edit post |
I personally would do Keller or Thomas
Keller because it seems to be a TE everyone is talking about.
Thomas because its NO and he is Grahams backup.
Tamme maybe because NO's D sucks and he has Manning throwing to him.
Keller would be my safe pick.

i like either gordon or maclin for the first set. to me, it's a toss up between those two. might go with gordon as he seems to have become the #1 option in cleveland.
jones, wallace and marshall on the second.
wallace and marshall have ridiculously easy matchups. the giants secondary has been playing better as of late and who knows what romo will show up. 10/26/2012 7:34:26 PM |

That's a tough one, I'd look at the schedule for each and see whose is the friendliest for WRs. I had the same situation with Houston D so I made a 2 for 1 trade to upgrade RB and that left me with an open spot to pick up a D for this week. 10/27/2012 1:54:03 AM |

pick 3 (.5 PPR league) bold are current picks

Bess really hasn't done all that much this year.
Steve Smith is the safe pick even with the matchup vs Chicago.
So apparently Donald Brown is coming back this week, so:
Vick Ballard vs Tenn
or
Santana Moss vs Pitt
I also have Andre Brown vs Dal...but Bradshaw seems like he is going to play also. 10/27/2012 12:14:11 PM |

Someone dropped Jennings in my 16 team league. I understand he is having surgery, but I have heard he may play after their bye (week 11). After this week, all my WRs are done with byes (AJ Green, D. Thomas, D. Moore, M. Williams, Avery). Should I attempt to drop Avery for Jennings to stash?
