Ok I’m a few mins behind but the refs are just talking over here. Not calling fouls when Burns gets very aggressively doubled. And the bullshit technical in T. We could help ourselves by making some shots but Jesus Christ.

My first half observations

Fuck Duke
Baby T has been pretty awful lately
Fuck the refs
We foul way too much…just too much flying around trying to wildly block shots and hacking
K is gone but Duke still can get away with all kinds of aggressive handsy defense!
T has to learn to drive and attack the rim. Too much shying away from contact and putting up low percentage shots

Seems like our fouls come when we get beat and are caught reaching, slapping down, or going for a block.

Duke and UVa do a better job staying in front of their man and just bumping and hand checking and refs just don’t call that. We don’t do ourselves many favors. We do foul a lot. And it feels like too many of our fouls are just dumb and obvious fouls. But I don’t get how teams can just bump and body and hand check all game and have fouls to give at the end of a half
