well my mom especially bends over backwards for my brother. she doesn't pay any attention to me. the past two nights she has been 'too tired to listen to me for 2 minutes" but not too tired to watch like 5 hours of tv.

My parents like my brother better than me, but it's probably because I'm completely normal and he has issues (depression type). They bend over backwards for him. To the point of absurdity. The dog too. They like the dog better than me, too. The dog has no issues so this is sort of bothersome.

But they give me $$ when I need it, so it's ok.

see i am one of those people that needs everyone to like me and when they don't it bothers me. this is how i am with my parents. i wish i could get over it but i can't.

my brother isn't depressed, but he does have issues. but not any issues that require bending over backwards for him. his issues are his own fault. like not doing well in school because of partying too much, etc.

not everyone as in EVERYONE but everyone as in like my family. and people i interact with on the regular. i am an approval seeker
