him ( a while later): okay she said that's alright. she'll make buy the pumpkin pie then

me: noooooooooooooooooooooo. did you ever even go back and read my email???
insert: call your mom and tell her we'll get the turkey for her and we'll bring it over the day before. Also tell her I forgot to ask, but would it be all right if I brought my sweet potato casserole as well as the pumpkin pie. The pumpkin pie will be baked the day before but the casserole will need about 30 minutes of oven time before we eat.

him: ok, I'll call her tomorrow

i stopped doing that years ago with all men in my life and go straight for the women when i need something done

i don't know why it's like that, but it's pretty standard with all men i know

Even though I tossed around in bed for two hours after class and only got 5-6 hrs of sleep, that was the best sleep in months. Woke up without a sore back nor reaching for the ibuprofen. We'll rotate our mattress or at minimum put the guest room mattress in our room.
