btdubs I love that arctic print

[Edited on December 7, 2011 at 6:43 PM. Reason : Is that the modcloth coach dress?]

Omg it is... That's the dress I asked for ony Christmas list, except in rose! Now I need to decide if I want the arctic print or rose print.... Hmm.

I only got free 1st row for 60 days! Still a dangerous dangerous thing. Although, I hit my ideeli limit two weeks ago with a pair of boots, a dress, and a nine west suit.

I stocked up on Black Friday with some tights and leggings. Got some last winter and decided I needed many more pairs. They are much better quality, IMO, but still not outrageous $. LOVE.

Not sure why it was 90 and not 60, except I've spent way too much on there lately. Or it's a new promo for them. Bought $400+ worth of Xmas gifts alone. Though I def saved a lot bc of that.

That said, I need a lot more clothing and will continue to enjoy ideeli. I'm fast approaching 30 and realize a lot of my wardrobe isn't quite age-appropriate. Anyone else dealing with this?

yes - my tastes in clothing have changed a lot recently. i feel like i better know now what works for me and what i like so i know how to shop appropriately. i prefer solid color clothes over prints. when i was heavier i looked for looser fitting clothes - now i prefer more of a fitted look. i have tried really hard to steer from lesser quality clothing and focus more on higher quality. it's just been tough because i went out and bought a bunch of new work stuff in September (size 6 pants) and i'm meeting my VP today and those same pants i bought a few months ago are literally falling off of me. and this is the first time i am wearing these particular pants

I decided I should stop dressing like a broke college student. I bought some new clothes recently. The dress I am wearing now is from ideeli and I really like it. A women just asked me for fashion advice because of how I am dressed. Pretty sure no stranger has ever asked my opinion.

Guh yes! It doesn't help that I had to abandon most of my wardrobe last year and just haven't have the funds to really fill it back up. I have like 5 pairs of pants and maybe 10 shirts to my name right now that I would consider work appropriate. And most of them are summer clothes which does me no good

^^ it does feel great. 4 compliments so far and one was even from a stylish black girl which counts double, imo

Oh and I paid off my student loan so I don't even feel guilty about buying new boots and clothes

I have what is potentially a silly question, as I have never been pregnant, but is dying your hair safe during pregnancy? I want to go darker with mine, but have been holding off, since I didn't want to deal with not being able to touch it up if I were to get pregnant any time soon.

[Edited on December 8, 2011 at 9:58 PM. Reason : Obviously, I am thinking it is, since you did!]

How often do I have to do this? I don't dye it often but it seems red is OFTEN.

I have read so many things and have talked to my doctors and my stylist friends...I get the ok but most women don't do it just in case.

yea i think you just can't perma-dye it. with all the ammonia and shit in it. dyes that are vegan friendly like manic panic are safe (or maybe it's all semi-permanent but i'm not totally sure about that)

Holly, I loved red on you. But yeah, crazy upkeep. I've found that blonde is easiest for me. Red fades so quickly.

Also, does anyone else here experience anxiety? If so, how do you deal?

I started seeing a cognitive thought (I think that's the right way to say it) therapist. She really helps me think things rationally and make things I get anxious over seem not as bad as I make them out to be.

Walmart has a fabulous collection of hideous Christmas sweaters this year. Otherwise, Goodwill is always the place to look.

occamsrezr bought me a ridiculous one off of Amazon this year. This shit has so much sparkly bling on it I blind people walking down the street.

But mine is black. And apparently it's now sold out

The picture really doesn't do it justice. It's much more gaudy in person
