page 3023

I've noticed I've been speaking a little more elaborate than usual... I have a feeling it's from all the period drama series I watched over the weekend

I wonder if that is actually true.

The downside to eating breakfast at 6:15 is that I am hungry again by 10:30.

Nov. 16 TWC said they would mail me a postage label to return our modem and we would get a refund of $12. Nov. 17 they charged a $75 equipment fee, and of course they apparently never sent the label in the first place. Nov. 19 they took $10 for also apparently no reason. I hate that company so much.

[Edited on November 26, 2012 at 2:18 PM. Reason : They don't even mail labels anymore, so that was a complete lie. ]

TWC is putting a modem rental fee on internet-only bills of like $4/month...not much, but another thing to make us search for alternatives.

Fuck, busy day.

I saw a thread on reddit last week or so that said thatyou should use your browser's incognito mode for booking flights with proof on the price increase

This is my first time ever trying it!

I'm using a lame chuck roast but holy moly goat barbacoa is next on my list now that you've mentioned it.

make eggs.

every day.

multitask when you're packing your lunch, or even getting dressed.

there is no excuse.

you can scramble eggs in minutes. if you dont have time to eat them, put them in a cup and eat them on the way.

or make mini omelets in cupcake tins and have them ready to go in the fridge. make a few batches on sunday with sausage, peppers, eggs, etc... microwave and go. blam.

Yeah, I gotta pipe up on this one. A good nutritious breakfast on the quick and easy is simple and there is just no excuse.

This morning egg beaters, reduced fat sharp cheddar, canadian bacon, multigrain thin sliced bagel. Glass of orange juice. It took me less than five minutes to do it.

It always takes so long to make eggs, then you gotta clean stuff later...fuck that shit. I'm lazy in the morning. fwp

...but these microwaveable alternatives have me intrigued, because I def need more protein in the morning.

How well do they keep? Mom used to make me breakfast burritos but they always came out runny after heating in the morning. Might've been because she froze them so idk

Uh. . . .seriously?

Get a good nonstick pan and some cooking spray. Wipe it out with a paper towel when you're done. I keep a pan on the stove and use it every morning. Throw it in the dishwasher when I have a load going. Easy. I think it's easier than even the microwave.

Yeah that's not up to my cleaning standards

especially with the inevitable egg that doesn't care about your nonstick pan or spray

The way I make eggs and meat product takes about 15 minutes to cook and eat with a nonstick griddle, then I gotta leave the griddle out since I'm running late for work. I make eggs on the weekends.

lol that's pretty much what I do. For baking in the oven I line the sheet with tin foil (or parchment when needed) and then just chuck out the foil afterwards

He makes a hard-boiled egg in 5 minutes, and you don't even have to wash it because nothing gets on it.

Unless you have a shitty pan or you're a real bastard with your eggs, it should wipe clean. It's really not any different than what you would do with a cast iron frying pan.

By the way, those saying there is no excuse. You are wrong. My excuse is I just got home from vacation and we have basically nothing perishable.

for those that like eggs but dont want to cook every day - besides the options that bottombaby provided, you can also do a crustless quiche with veggies/cheese and bake it on a sunday - then reheat during the week!

for breakfast i eat a concoction of oats, chia seeds, and greek yogurt with blueberries/pom seeds on top and then a banana. i make it the night before and then refrigerate overnight and bring it with me to eat at work in the morning.

peter, i put them in a gallon zip lock bag and refrigerate them. don't freeze. it'll hold for a few days, and microwaves fine. put some cheese and shit in there. don't over microwave. doesn't need to be steaming hot. don't overcook in the oven when baking.

just use bigass muffin tins. those little ones are bullshit. use muffin wrappers too, for ultimate ease.
